BEESWAX is a useful product for various applications thanks to its characteristics. You can use this wax to make Mold or Votive Candles, Tealights / Container Candles / Cosmetics / Fondant / Soap .

Beeswax is very useful as an additive to make the wax shinier and smoother and helps improve the olfactory quality of your scented creations.

How to use:

Melt the wax

The wax must be heated in a bain-marie to a temperature between 71°C and 93°C. Do not exceed 93.3°C. In the event of exposure to excessively high temperatures for prolonged periods of time, the wax will tend to discolour.

Add colors or fragrances

The colors or fragrances must be added once the wax has completely melted. Always stir the mixture for 1-2 minutes. slowly to ensure complete absorption.

Recommended fragrance percentages: 6-8%.

To make beeswax mold candles: If using pure beeswax, we recommend using only silicone or latex molds.

It can be mixed with other vegetable waxes:
For scented candles: Add 5-10% 75°C beeswax to the scented mixture.

For fondants: add 5% beeswax to soy wax, to make the fondant shinier and contribute to a better scent.

Melting point Cº: 61-66 ºC

(Do not exceed 93°C)

Pouring temperature: 75°

Oil %: 17-24

Acidity index: 17-24

Saponification index: 87-104

Value of esters: 70-80

Hydrocarbons: Max 18%.
