Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from the hydrogenation of oil extracted from soybeans. Its natural shade may vary slightly from ivory white to creamy white depending on the batch.
The size of the grains can also differ due to the machinery used during processing. These variations do not in any way affect the quality of the wax, which remains consistent and guaranteed, regardless of the color or size of the grains.
Key features:
- High melting point: 57°-63°C.
- Excellent final finish: offers a superior aesthetic result in terms of color, shine.
- No alteration of scent: candle fragrances are perfectly reproduced, ensuring quality candles.
Instructions for use:
- Melt the wax in a double boiler, avoiding temperatures above 90°C.
- Add colorant at 75°-80°C and stir for 1 minute.
- Add fragrance at 70°-75°C and stir for 2 minutes.
- Cool the wax to approximately 70-72°C and slowly pour it into preheated molds.
- Keragreen soy wax can be used alone or mixed with other waxes, stearic acids, or paraffins.
- For best results, it is essential that the molds are perfectly clean and dry before use. A trick to avoid imperfections in the final product is to preheat the mold with a hairdryer before pouring the wax. This helps to improve detail rendering and prevents the formation of blemishes or air bubbles. Avoid too rapid cooling to prevent spots and cracks.
Tips: After pouring the wax, let it cool at room temperature (20-25°C) for approx. 24 hours.
