Eco Olive Pillar Blend - Olive Wax for candles in Moulds/ Tarts/ Pillar Candles
Take your candle creations to the next level with Olive Wax for Candle Molds and Scented Melts, a blend developed specifically for the production of pillar mold candles.
It is a 100% natural wax, composed mainly of olive wax, mixed with natural additives to improve combustion and diffusion of fragrances. This wax is totally free of animal products, paraffin and palm oil and has not been tested on animals. It is biodegradable and suitable for vegans.
Eco Olive Pillar Blend offers excellent fragrance diffusion, both hot and cold, and a smooth, shiny surface finish. It only needs to be poured once and is easy to remove from the molds. This wax can contain a fragrance load of up to 12% with fragrance oils designed for use with natural waxes.
Usage tips
For best results, we recommend melting this wax at approximately 75°C (do not exceed 90°C) and pouring it at 65°C. A curing time of 48 hours is recommended. As with all candles, we encourage you to do extensive testing with all wax, fragrance and wick combinations.
Molds
The molds must be perfectly clean and dry. They must be at least at room temperature, although preheating with a hairdryer can be useful.
Dyes
If using dyes, heat the wax to around 75°C, add the dye and stir until melted.
Fragrances
This wax is designed to be used with fragrances up to 12%. The use of fragrances specifically developed for natural waxes is strongly recommended.
Wicks
Natural waxes tend to require larger wicks than traditional paraffin waxes. The fragrance, dye, and configuration of the candle have a major impact on choosing the best wick. It is recommended to do your own tests.
Cooling of candles
Leave the candles to cool quietly at room temperature (around 25°C). Depending on the size, the candles must be left to rest for 48 hours before being removed from the mold. Vegetable wax candles need a curing time of 10 -15 days before testing.
