Take your candle creations to the next level with Eco Olive Pillar Blend, a blend specifically developed for making pillar and votive candles.
It is a 100% natural wax, primarily composed of olive wax, blended with natural additives to enhance burn performance and fragrance throw. This wax is completely free of animal products, paraffin, and palm oil, and has not been tested on animals. It is biodegradable and vegan-friendly.
Eco Olive Pillar Blend offers excellent hot and cold fragrance throw, and a smooth, glossy surface finish. It only requires a single pour and is easy to demould. This wax can hold up to 12% fragrance load with fragrance oils designed for use with natural waxes.
Usage Tips
For optimal results, it is recommended to melt the wax at approximately 75°C (do not exceed 90°C) and pour it at 70°-72°C. A curing time of 48 hours is recommended. As with all candles, we encourage thorough testing with all combinations of wax, fragrance, and wick.
Moulds
Moulds must be perfectly clean and dry. They should be at least at room temperature, although preheating with a hairdryer can be helpful.
Dyes
If using dyes, heat the wax to approximately 75°C, add the dye, and stir until dissolved.
Fragrances
This wax is designed to be used with fragrances up to 12%. The use of fragrances specifically developed for natural waxes is strongly recommended.
Wicks
Natural waxes tend to require larger wicks than traditional paraffin waxes. Fragrance, dye, and candle configuration have a significant impact on the choice of the best wick. It is advisable to conduct your own tests.
Cooling Candles
Allow candles to cool undisturbed at room temperature (approximately 25°C). Depending on their size, candles should be left for 48 hours before demoulding. Vegetable wax candles need a curing time of 10-15 days before testing.
